Concept Art for Nuclear Dawn
Nuclear Dawn is a multiplayer-only Half-Life 2 modification currently under development.
The modification is set in a a post-apolcalyptic age after 2024 when all nations have been wiped out and the survivors split into two factions – The Consortium of Free States and The People’s Empire. See more information from the Nuclear Dawn site here.
As a player, you will be an infantry trooper (standard, armored infantry in power suits or stealth infantry) of either the Asymmetrical Warfare Division of the Consortium of Free States or the elite Red Sword of The People’s Empire. The character designs are pretty cool – a fusion of modern day body armor with slightly futuristic (hey, it’s only 2024) gadgets and weapons – think a more technologically advanced Sam Fisher of Splinter Cell)
