Favourite Illustrators of Warhammer 40,000 (III) - Karl Kopinski

Karl Kopinski’s official website at www.karlkopinski.com showcases some of his works for the Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer universes.

Some of his more well-known artwork for Warhammer 40,000 include the cover art for Codex Imperial Guard and Codex Catachans as well as the cover art for the Warhammer 40,000 : Dawn of War Winter Assault expansion pack and Fire Warrior games.

I like the way he draws the Imperial Guard in the same way they are depicted in the Warhammer 40,000, as determined and stubborn defenders of the Imperium of Man while highlighting the fact that each Guardsman is only human with real emotions like anger, fear and desperation.

Ah, yes, Mr. Kopinski. A classic WH artist, if I may say so.

    Top post ;)

Yep, one of my favourites but then Adrian Smith is still my all-time favourite WH40K artist though. Eagerly awaiting more Warhammer-related posts on your blog :)

Well, I’m trying, really, I am. Then again, I’m just a tiny wii litttle gnome…

(A WD review should appear within the week)
