Freeware Game Reviews (II) – Gamehippo.com
GameHippo.com has one of the largest number of freeware game reviews on the Net.
Due to the large number of games reviewed and that screenshots are displayed in a separate popup window, it takes a while to browse through the list of reviewed games, making it pretty hard to separate the really good ones from the multitude of average games. If you take the time to browse through their archive of reviews, you can definitely find some freeware gems there.
For a quick freeware game fix, you can try the section where each reviewer showcases his/her top ten games (here) as well as another section where the top 20 user-rated games are displayed (here).
The site hasn’t been updated in quite a while but the review archive is enough for any new visitor to peruse for a long time
