Of course, you can always go to deviantArt and check out the newest art everyday, but I find it less time-consuming to trawl through the massive amounts of new art released on deviantArt. Besides, I quite like the artwork that DeskMutations recommends, like the ones below:

For those who are interested in desktop customization, DeskMutations also hosts files like boot screens, cursors and themes. Can’t really recommend anything because I like my desktop clean and simple.
