The above wallpapers for Jade Empire Special Edition for PC can be found here with resolutions from (800×600 to 1600 x1200). Love the character design for the Death’s Hand, the head of the Lotus Assassins. Something slightly off topic – the mask for Death’s Head looks similar to those worn by Persian Immortals in the movie 300 (see below). Didn’t remembering reading that the Persian Immortals were ninjas in my history books

I much prefer the wallpapers (800×600 to 1280×960) for the Xbox 360 version here featuring characters from the game.

Also check out GameWallpapers.com’s wallpapers (one for Death’s Hand, Furious Ming and Wu the Lotus Blossom) for this game which basically removes the developer and publisher logos from the original artwork. A variety o f resolutions are available.
The weapons and fighting styles in Jade Empire are quite authentic stuff but the costumes for the female characters are definitely western designs with Chinese influences (read – not accurate) but still very nicely designed nonetheless. Anyway I doubt Jade Empire was intended to be an realistic depiction of ancient China in the first place.
