Blatant product placement in Shooter?
Just watched Shooter last week and saw this product placement – no, not that large calibre rifle (CheyTac M-200) seen in the trailer – it’s the other one shown later in the movie. If you intend to watch the movie, please note that the following links may constitute as a spoiler of sorts.
It’s the placement for – PRI’s TRAP T-250, an real-life product from a real-life defense technology firm based in California. I seriously thought this kind of stuff was fictional and only found in games and novels.
Not sure if the book Point of Impact by Stephen Hunter from which the movie is adapted from has the same reference to PRI and the TRAP T-250 system.
