Magna Carta, a pretty old RPG series by SoftMax, has some of the most distinctive character designs I have ever seen.
Artwork for the Magna Carta series was done by the South Korean illustrator Kim Hyung-Tae. You can view a gallery of his work for other SoftMax games at NittyGritty², his official fansite.
