STAMP Singapore & eeshaun - SG Illustrator
Veron of sparklette.net pointed out the existence of STAMP Singapore whereby selected postboxes in Singapore were painted with designs from 40 teams.
If this sounds interesting, hop over to the first post of a series on STAMP Singapore at sparklette.net for more information, pretty photos and links to a downloadable PDF containing photos of the forty designs. No point replicating content over here
Not sure if Veron intentionally left out the information on the four additional and non-competing postbox designs by commissioned artists in her post, but you can view them at STAMP Singapore’s site here. (scroll to the bottom)

I love eeshaun’s postbox design in front of Orchard MRT because it makes me happy, especially after seeing it in real life a few weeks ago
Ok, now back to the 40 competing designs for STAMP Singapore

© Team Zilch
My favourite of the 40 designs has to be CU12 : 8th Storey (Page 24) by Team Zilch shown above where a postbox is transformed into an apartment block with 13 happy little people, complete with TV antenna on the rooftop
CV03: Blue Sky (Page 27), CV07: Rolling Hills (Page 31) and S03: Pgent (Page 41) are some of my other favourites.

congratulations for your blog!
Hello from sparklette.net,
Actually I left those 4 artists’ postboxes out because they are not in the competition, while the purpose of my blog coverage on this event was to increase awareness and get people to vote.
Still, I would probably do a “special mention” of the other 4
Anyway, thanks for finding the actual STAMP site, Veron.
I saw eeshaun’s postbox the other time and thought it was a redesign of the postboxes in the city area, didn’t realise it was part of STAMP SG
Hi Roy,
I just came across your site randomly and found this post. And i would like you to know that the people in team zilch are really appreciative of your mention, which is about a year late.. haha
Just FYI, If you were able to see the post box at its actual location, we painted it according to the colours of the neighbouring HDBs.
Thanks man!
Great site btw.. Nice collection of downloads
Thanks Kai - thought that many if not most of the STAMP.SG entries deserved a wider international audience
Anyway I love Team Zilch’s design - only issue is with that guy on the 2nd floor - I hope he isn’t trying to commit suicide sitting on the parapet like that
