Tiger I Papercraft Model from Sega
A promotional 1/144 papercraft model of a late model German Tiger I, one of the most distinctive tanks of World War II. The papercraft was designed by Masahiro Takamoto for Sega’s Advanced Daisenryaku 2001 or Advanced 大戦略 2001, a (old!) game for Sega Dreamcast.

The Tiger I (German designation: PzKpfw VI Ausf. E) was a 55 tonne tank armed with the 88mm KwK L/56 gun. The characteristic blocky and angular silhouette of this tank was due to the Tiger I being designed before the advent of the Soviet T-34 hammered home the benefits of sloped armor for additional ballistic protection.
For even more information on the Tiger I, visit The Armor Site and Achtung Panzer!.
You can view the other tanks in this series of papercraft tanks - King Tiger, Panther Ausf G, M4A1/A3 Sherman, SU-85, SU-122 and two variants of the T-34 at this gallery here. Unfortunately, only the Tiger I model plans are available for download (instructions w/photos - text in Japanese)
The main page for the papercraft tanks are located here in the Specials section of the Advanced 大戦略 2001 site.
