Hi Jon, you might find Armada PDFs suitable for reference too.
Armada's more into the APC and IFVs though.

MBT technology hasn't been progressing as fast as APC / IFV technology since ERA and applique armor can defeat most RPGs. The only critical issue left is probably enhancing the anti-IED defense of existing tanks IMHO.

This is good general reference material. Yeah, this stuff is operational. It’s amazing how modern technology can be defeated by SA-18s from the Vietnam Era. This version is indeed Unclassified now BTW.
