Wallpapers Wednesday – Alliance of Valiant Arms
Two nicely illustrated wallpapers from Korean multiplayer FPS – Alliance of Valiant Arms – set in the modern day like Battlefield 2.

Each wallpaper depicts the three character classes -Rifleman, Pointman & Sniper – from each of the two opposing factions, the Russian NRF (not sure what it stands for – maybe Neo Russian Force?) and the EU coalition forces (not sure why the soldiers of EU have the French patch on the left shoulder and yet do not use French weapons – the sniper on the right is armed with a Galil Sniper which isn’t used outside the Israeli Defence Forces and the rifleman is equipped with a M4A1 which is definitely not in the French armory 
)

The Russians in the other wallpaper look more like their real-life special force counterparts with the urban camouflage uniforms and the distinctly Russian firearms like the Bizon PP-19, SV-98 and AK-74M.
Details in English on this Unreal Engine 3.0-powered game are pretty sketchy with the best source of info compiled in this forum thread @ Onrpg.com.
