Hmm, my military books of choice would be the <a href="http://search.ospreypublishing.com/search?site=titles&q=german+navy&getfields=%2A&filter=0&sort=date%3AD%3AL%3Ad1&output=xml_no_dtd&oe=UTF-8&ie=UTF-8&client=default_frontend&proxystylesheet=titles&btnG.x=0&btnG.y=0" rel="nofollow">Osprey New Vanguard series</A> :)

I'll see if I can find Gerhard Koop's books at my local library :)

To bad about the resolution (1920x1200) would be better. But I wouldnt use them anyway because there is only 1 navy I'm interested in: the german navy.
I love the books by Gerhard Koop:

Lots and lots of pictures in is books about the big(ger) german battleships.
In the game Call of Duty (1) there is a level where you can walk al over the Tirpitz. Needles to say that that was my favorite level.
