Could have sworn that these critters (especially the bug-eyed tentacled beast) came straight out from the Gears of War series when I saw this picture in my RSS reader. These monstrosities are actually from 3D Realms’ long overdue Duke Nukem Forever and this wallpaper released as a Christmas present for their fans in 2008, is hopefully an indication that this game will shed its vaporware tag for good this year

Hey Dian, Happy New Year!
At least Blizzard’s stuff usuallly comes out after a few years – for Duke Nukem Forever, it was first announced in 1997 I believe
I could of swore that was Gears when I first saw it… lol
They gotta be getting close now. :/
It does look a lot like Gears of War – especially the monsters at the back
