Art Friday : The Art Of Prince of Persia Screensaver
A New Year gift from the good folks at Ubisoft for all subscribers of the mailing list for Prince of Persia, the Art of Prince of Persia screensaver is a tiny 6 MB download showcasing some really awesome Middle East-themed concepts for the latest game in the series as a slideshow.
While I would much prefer it to be a PDF file like what 2K Games did for BioShock, the Art of Prince of Persia screensaver is still a download not to be missed for any fan of the series.
Sorry for the total lack of any samples of the beautiful concept art since I haven’t actually figured out how to extract the images from the screensaver (yet). Anyway, I fully enjoyed all 3:38 minutes of this screensaver and I’m sure any game concept enthusiast will find it a worthwhile download.
NOTE: The screensaver is installed in your Windows folder (yep, it’s for Windows only) as POP Art Book.scr. Double-click it to start the slideshow.

Very cool! The artwork is amazing for this game… I don’t use screensavers because of painting reasons, but I will keep an eye out if you ever extract the actual art from it…
