Center for Southeast Asian Studies of the Northern Illinois University offers some online lessons for those interested in learning about southeast Asian languages and cultures . Check out their Bahasa Indonesian, Tagalog and Vietnamese and Burmese language resources.
For Bahasa Melayu (commonly used in Malaysia and Singapore and similiar to Bahasa Indonesia), visit pgoh13.free.fr, for a well-structured online course with in 64 short and easy to understand lessons.
