What’s better than loads of eye candy? A regular overdose of free eye candy, of course

Artzmania is a digital-only magazine distributed in Spotbit’s e-book format which comes complete with the current in-thing for e-book viewers : a cool page flipping animation with corresponding rustling sounds. Once you tire of flipping pages with your mouse, you can always use the cursor keys to turn the pages or use the very handy thumbnails or indexes (not available in all issues) to quickly find what you want to read.

Here’s some sample spreads to whet your appetite. All artworks are copyrighted to their respective artists of course.

There’s the occassional interview here and there but that’s about it, no long-winded articles like what you read here If your main aim is just to be bedazzled by beautiful stuff, you’ll be delighted to know that tons of dazzling illustrations, paintings, graphic design, photography and the occassional architectural concepts await you as you slowly savour each page after page. With each issue in excess of 300 pages, you really got a lot of stuff to look at.

Now let’s take a look at our very own Antz and Killer Gerbil as featured in the Graffiti Issue (pg 34-35 and 246-247 respectively). You guys rulezzz!

The double spread format looks really great for Artzmania and coupled with the clean and attractive layout of each spread, makes the magazine a very pleasing read. Clicking on any link immediately opens it in your browser - enjoying new eye candy has never been so convenient

Last but not least, here’s a trio of very cool artists that I recently discovered on deviantART - I was about to write about them but Artzmania beat me to them. Drats!
