Wallpapers Wednesday : Myth 2
Wallpapers for Myth 2, one of my favourite games for the real-time tactics genre from a pre-Halo, pre-Microsoft Bungie Studios.

The Myth universe, in my opinion, is one of the better fantasy-themed metauniverses ever created for videogames - where else do you get to fight against murderous skull-collecting monsters with dreadlocks like the Myrkridia (a fantasy version of a Predator?) and giant Trows who treat their unfortunate victims like footballs.

While the Myth series is no longer supported by Bungie, there’s still a thriving online community of enthusiasts at places like The Tain where you’ll find such goodies like an unofficial patch - version 1.6 (Windows, Mac) - for Myth 2 as well as The Fallen Lords campaign from the original Myth redone for Myth 2 for those who missed on the first game. Time to lead the forces of Light to battle against hordes of undead Thralls, Soulless and those vicious little Ghols (below) again

BTW, Myth 2 players might be interested to check out the demo for Kingdom ELemental. The tutorial for this game bears more than just a passing resemblance to that of Myth 2

It’s was orginally for PC and Mac. Bungie were Mac game devs originally if I’m not wrong.
