World in Conflict Trailers
World in Conflict is an upcoming strategy game by Massive Entertainment. The game is set in the late 1980s in a alternate world where the Cold War has not ended, the Soviet Union has not collapsed and is actually invading the USA.
The latest trailer for this game was posted a few days ago at Gametrailers.com but the official site has the videos at higher resolutions and HD versions. Download them here.
The first trailer for the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2007 depicts US soldiers withdrawing from an enemy tank smashes its way into a mall as well as a Soviet attack on an American suburb.

The latest trailer shows an invasion via the sea as helicopters, APCs and AA attack all in sight by day and paratroops land and assault at night. Gametrailers has a slightly longer version of this video interpersed with extra gameplay footage.
Three more screen captures from the latest trailer.

The CG graphics used in the video seem very lifelike and realistic at times (Real actors? Clever editing?) which makes the video seem almost like live footage from a real news channel. Portions (especially the vehicles) can be readily identified as CG but in certain scenes, characters move a bit too humanlike to appear as CG characters (especially in the CES trailer). Upon repeated viewings, I concluded that skillful video editing was used to give the video the news broadcast look and feel.
Screen captures also available as wallpapers (shown below) at the official site here.
