For the last month, I’m been busy working on a little project on my new pictorial blog for my dearest. Drawing pictures daily is really hell: now I understand the pain that creative people feel when they are asked to conceptualize and design stuff within impossible deadlines.

Below are links to some excellent language resources for those interested in learning southeast Asian languages like Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Tagalog (Philippines) and Vietnamese. Perfect for people like me who have more foreign than local colleagues at the workplace :p

Center for Southeast Asian Studies of the Northern Illinois University offers some online lessons for those interested in learning about southeast Asian languages and cultures . Check out their Bahasa Indonesian, Tagalog and Vietnamese and Burmese language resources.

For Bahasa Melayu (commonly used in Malaysia and Singapore and similiar to Bahasa Indonesia), visit pgoh13.free.fr, for a well-structured online course with in 64 short and easy to understand lessons.
