Wallpapers Wednesday : King’s Bounty : Armored Princess

King’s Bounty : Armored Princess is an expansion pack to the 2008 remake of the original King’s Bounty which was the inspiration the Heroes of Might & Magic series.

For this expansion (a weird name,if you ask me), we have wallpapers of the titular Princess Amelie who’s pretty, not exactly well-armored and is apparently single and has a Nordic temper (interesting details but do we really need to know all that?) If yes, head on down to the English site where there’s more information about the game but is unfortunately missing the wallpapers.

Download King’s Bounty : Armored Princess wallpapers from the official Russian site.

Wallpaper Wednesday : Combat Arms

Wallpapers for Combat Arms published by Nexon Corp. It’s another multiplayer FPS I know – sorry if I’ve been posting wallpapers for games of this genre lately since I’m currently on a mission to find the wallpapers for as many of these multiplayer online-only FPSes (at least for those with a modern military theme)

© Nexon Corp

I sometimes find it strange that given the popularity of these modern military multiplayer FPSes, there is an interesting dearth of good predominantly singleplayer FPSes with the same theme – I can only recall Call of Duty 4 : Modern Warfare and the Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas series at the moment.

Download these Combat Arms wallpapers from the Nexon site.

Wallpapers Wednesday : Sudden Attack

Saw this free-to-play multiplayer FPS, Sudden Attack over at g4g.it. The first wallpaper reminds me of Counterstrike, that’s all I can say :)

Wallpapers Wednesday : House of The Dead : Overkill

Stylish comic-style wallpapers for House of The Dead : Overkill developed by Headstrong Games for the Wii.

© Sega

You can also download a fansite kit where you get 23 render shots of the four bosses in House of The Dead : Overkill, including two detailed shots of their feet. Only the leg shot of Brutus is displayed below – the other one legshot for Screamer is a bit too grotesque for public viewing :)

© Sega

Big bad Brutus is actually the mildest looking boss of the four

The renders are carefully hidden inside the zip file though – if you have to know, the exact folder is as follows:

Overkill_Fansite_Kit.zip \ Overkill_Fansite_Kit \ Art_&_Screenshots \ Suffer like G Did \ How could anyone do this \ Dogs of the AMS \ Dont come \ Dont come \ Equivocate \ ggggrrrrrnrnrnrnrnrnnnggggg \ Meet G over here

The long folder structure also means that this particular folder has to be extracted manually for most users, especially you intend to unzip it from any other folder other than the root directory e.g C:\ .

Of course there’s other goodies in the fansite kit including the cover artwork for the graphic novel available only with the Collector’s Edition of this game.

Wallpapers Wednesday: Anima : Beyond Fantasy

Wallpapers featuring artwork created for the Anima universe designed jointly by Anima Project Studio and Edge Entertainment and used in the Anima : Beyond Fantasy (a non-computer) RPG, the Anima : Shadow of Omega card game and the Anima Tactics miniatures game.

© Anima Project Studio & Edge Entertainment

The official site provides only a small sample of the gorgeous artwork for this fantasy universe, which definitely pales in comparision to the official concepts of ethereal fairies and hellish monsters illustrated by wen-m as posted at his deviantART gallery. Incidentally, wen-m’s gallery was where I first heard of Anima : Beyond Fantasy :)
